Default Meatloaf

Meatloaf

1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 to 2 eggs (depending on consistency)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup green pepper (finely chopped)
1 cup tomato sauce (divided)

Combine above ingredients using only half of the tomato sauce and one egg
(if mixture isn't moist enough add the other egg). Shape mixture into a
loaf and place on a greased cookie sheet or in a meat loaf pan. Take the
remaining tomato sauce and spread on top of meat loaf. Bake at 350 F for 1
hour.

*For variations, you can use barbecue sauce or ketchup instead of tomato
sauce as a topping. Barbecue sauce will give it an extra kick.
