Default Scalloped Potatoes

Scalloped Potatoes

3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tps. salt
1/8 tps. pepper
3 cups milk
6 medium (6 cups) potatoes, pared, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
hot sauce to taste.


Make white sauce from first 5 ingredients. Place half the potatoes in
greased 2-quart casserole; cover with half the onion and half the sauce.
Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. about 1 hour. Uncover and
bake 30 minutes longer. Serves 4-6.

Can also put porkchops on top of potatoes. Also have used kielbasa.
