Pizza Crust
4 cups flour 2 heaping Tbsp. crisco 2 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. yeast in 1 cup of water with 2 Tbsp. sugar Knead dough or use dough maker. Put in greased bowl and grease the top. Let rise until double in bulk( about 45 min), keep checking it so it does not over flow the bowl. Roll out to circle or square (which ever pizza stone you have) . Make sure your pizza stone is hot before you transfer it. Place stone in oven at 400* degrees and heat it up before you transfer dough on it. Bake until almost done with your sauce on it and the last five minutes place the cheese on it, this should make your crust crisp. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at .
