Default Cinnamon-Apple Bake

Cinnamon-Apple Bake

2 (20-oz.) cans sliced Apples, undrained
1 to 2 tsp. ground Cinnamon
1 cup firmly packed light Brown Sugar
1 (9-oz.) box Yellow Cake Mix, like Jiffy
1/2 cup Butter, melted

Spread apples on bottom of a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Top evenly with dry cake mix, and
drizzle with melted butter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Another take on recipe would be to add 3/4 cup dried cherries to baking dish
with the sliced apples, and preceed with recipe as directed.
