Hello,

I am a parent volunteer working with a group of 4th and 5th grade
elementary school students. We are putting together a display about
"Candy around the World". We are specifically studying the countries
of: South Africa, Egypt, Morocco and Uganda.

We are interested in learning about home-made and commercial candies
that are available in these countries. Obviously we don't expect to
get commercial recipes, but at least main ingedients so we can compare
them with popular candy in the US

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance with this school
project.

Subject: vegetarian tinned bean recipes

I bought a whole bunch of canned beans recently (on sale, of course!)
and am a bit stuck for creative ideas as to how to use them. I bought
basically two of every type (chick peas, black beans, romano, etc.) so
the only request is that they be vegetarian (or easily convertible) and
relatively healthful.

Thanks in advance!
Christine

A local mexican resturant makes the best Habanero salso ever! But he
won't sell it or give away the recipe. So I'm counting on you guys!

What I know is...

No tomatos
No carrots
No fruit other than peppers
the color is mostly yellowish orange
there is an oil content high enough to see a layer on top of a big
bowl
It has onion

He makes what appears to be the same recipe with the Manzana pepper.

I have made Rick Bayless' recipe and it is really good, but it is
significantly hotter than this guys. You can taste the pepper flavor
and still walk around upright!

Any Ideas???????????????
