Default Red Velvet Cake

Red Velvet Cake

2 1/2 cup self rising flour
1 teasp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teasp vinegar
1 teasp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 teasp red food coloring

Sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside. Beat eggs, sugar, veg.
oil, vinegar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in
buttermilk. Gradually mix in food coloring. Pour batter evenly into 3
greased and floured 9" cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 27-28 minutes.
Frost as desired, cream cheese frosting recommended.
