Default The Best Bread Pudding

The Best Bread Pudding

1 cup diced peaches
6 cups white bread cubes
1/3 cup raisins
4 beaten large eggs
11/2cup light fruit juice
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 teas. Vanilla
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teas. ground Cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup Maraschino cherry halves drained

Do not drain juice from peaches.
Combine un-drained peaches, crusty white bread cubes and raisins.
In another bowl stir together eggs, fruit juice, sugar, buttermilk,
Vanilla, and almond flavoring. Pour over the bread mixture and fold
together. Transfer this mixture into a greased, square baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, Cinnamon and cherry halves over top; dot
with butter. Bake in 350 oven for 35-40 minutes or until an inserted
knife comes out clean.
