I didn't add any sugar (just as I thought, the bread was sweet enough
on its own). In fact, the bread was so sweet, the result was actually
too sweet. Oh well.

I put the bread cubes in the dish and poured the egg mixture over
them, didn't stir anything. Unfortunately, the bread wasn't stale
enough, so it didn't soak up the egg mixture like it should have - but
result tasted just fine.
