1.5 L Canning Jar Question
My pressure canner book only gives times for half pints, pints, and
quarts. I have some 1.5 L (~1.6 qt) jars I would like to can vegetables in. Would the pressure timing be the same as quarts? |

The timing would probably be longer. It depends on the shape of the jars. I'd probably use the times for quarts and add about 10 minutes. Best regards, Bob |

There might be a fee but the National Food Processors Assn.(formerly National
Canners Assn.) might have that information. |
