freezing onions
Hi everyone - This is my first time posting anywhere so I hope I do it
correctly. Now my question - Do I have to blanch onions to freeze them or can I just chop them up, put them in containers and freeze. Anyone or everyone please let me know. Thanks Ras |

Thanks Ras Chopped onions freeze just fine with no blanching. For ease of use, I would spread them on waxed paper or pastic wrap on a baking sheet and freeze, then pour into containers for storage. -- Wayne in Phoenix If there's a nit to pick, some nitwit will pick it. |
