How long is it okay to store beer? This is normal heiniken bottled
beer, stored in a cupboard. I ask because I just found some which is
about a year and a half old, and I would hate to see it go to waste!

Seems a bit long to me, but I would never throw away beer without
testing it first. It may have skunked, but it's not like milk: it won't
kill you (or make you throw up) to at least sniff a bottle of it.
