Taking to work for lunch/dinner: Thinly sliced sirloin with chunks of
Japanese eggplant, sliced red onion, and red bell pepper strips, stir-fried
and then seasoned with "sweet chilli sauce." Accompanied with jasmine rice
and a salad/relish made from chopped yellow Brandywine tomatoes, cucumber
chunks, thinly-sliced onion, fish sauce, black pepper, salt, sugar, and rice
vinegar. Santa Rosa plums and Red Flame grapes for dessert, and iced
"Dragonberry" tea with a bit of peach syrup to drink.

Breakfast was pseudo-Russian: Chopped cooked beets sautéed until they
started to caramelize, scrambled eggs with dill, pickled herring in sour
cream, pumpernickel, and tea.
