What would one do with all of those valid email addresses? Hmm... Why would someone want to collect lots and lots of valid email addresses... -- =()==()==()==()==()- http://fauxascii.com \ \ \ \ \ \ ASCII artist :F_P:-O- -O- -O- -O- -O- -O- -O- \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ |

You don't need an invitation to open up a free gmail account. That policy was online during gmail's beta test period. Anyone who wants a gmail account now can get one simply by going to http://gmail.google.com and following the directions to open an account. |

"Can I sign up without the invitation code? Or without a mobile phone? You need to receive and enter a special invitation code in order to create an account. I believe they made it "open" registration for the first XXXXXX number of people, and now its by some sort of invite only. If I try to register now, it tells me I need an invitation. -- Cheers Chatty Cathy |
