Default Ice Cream Scoop Addiction

When relatives come to visit in the summer, I make a big deal about
ice cream. That's the short story. Over time, I have been searching
for appropriate fountain dishes and glasses. This year I found some
cute bowls and nearly cry for happy when I found traditional ice
cream float glasses to use for ice cream sodas (the fountain glasses
with the metal base and coke-glass inserts). I bought one of those
kits with the freezer stone for mix-ins. Strangely I've never sought
out an ice cream scoop though.

At Crate and Barrel a couple of weeks ago I ran across a colorful
Zyliss ice cream scoop and bought it. When I tried it at home, I fell
in love. It made the most beautiful round ice cream balls and was so
easy to use, well-balanced. I found myself eating more ice cream just
so I could use the scoop. And then... I went back last week intending
to buy just one more, but I couldn't make up my mind which color. So
I bought... one of each. It's a good thing they only had four colors.

I know no one "needs" four ice cream scoops. But don't judge me- you
have to hold one ...to use one ...in order to appreciate the
intoxicating experience ;>

Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself!
