Default Can fat or grease seep through Le Creuset?

I heard somewhere that supposedly somebody on food network said that Le
Creuset dishes cast iron and/or stoneware can have grease, butter, or
fats can seep through the bottom.

Is this true? How could this happen? Never had it happen with a cast
iron pan.

Thanks.
