Default Who can tell me who the singer is on this wonderful thing ?

Who can tell us who the singer is on this. Almost like Perry Como or
Dean Martin, but not.

It's The Drifters, a doo-wop group. They were very popular, and had a
number of hits that you still hear quite often on Oldies programmes.

That would be The Drifters with Clyde McPhatter. Classic version of
the song!

Thanks, Leo, it is, indeed, a classic. It's a "forever" recording.

Dontcha just hate it when that happens. There's a song currently showing
up in all sorts of British telly adverts. I /think/ it's the Average
White Band, but the name is making me a little crazy. I know I know it,
but do you think I can remember it? LOL
