Fish fritters question
I am going to experiment with deep-fried fish fritters tonight. Would I use
cooked or raw fish? Or either? THanks -- Peter Aitken Visit my recipe and kitchen myths page at www.pgacon.com/cooking.htm |

>Fresh, or frozen. Cooked fish would end up over cooked. If using frozen fish, make sure it's thawed well and pat dry with papertowels before battering for the deep-frier. Most fish filets will be cooked when your batter has turned to golden brown. I'd recommend you find a fried fish recipe online if you've never fried it before. Be sure also to monitor your oil temperature religiously to avoid burned batter if too hot or greasy fritters if too cool. Kev |
