Following recipes from the internet I am attempting to make yogurt
cheese and nothing is happening. I have placed the yogurt/salt mixture in the cheesecloth to drain and it has been two days now and NOTHING has drained out. It just sits there. Any ideas/suggestions? I am miffed. chula |

We are fixin' to start making our own yogurt here soon. I have a large incubator and will use quart jars. He might be setting it in a bowl? I tie the top shut on the bag and use the tie string to hang it UP above a bowl so that it's hanging in mid-air. -- Om. Well, it looks like I had way, way, way too many layers of cheesecloth
and it was sitting in a bowl. We reduced the cheesecloth and hung it up per your suggestion and it seems to be working fine now. Three days later. LOL thanks to all for the input. chula |
