A local bakery used to make a tart with a pear-flavored gel (sort of
like panna cotta) that was really delicious. What I've found online so far is mostly pear butter, which I will try sometime now that I've figured out that Bartletts are the ones that get so fragrant when ripe. I can and will experiment, but does anyone have on hand a recipe for pear mousse or other similar dessert? Sue(tm) Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself! |
