I think they are maybe not brilliant, maybe so in a way, but certainly very creative. Clearly tapping into something psychological, which some find funny, others are repulsed by, yet on the surface, they are very inocuous. I find myself trying to figure out what it is... I didn't find him creepy, but he's quite the turnoff for me, in spite of the offers of foot rubs and armoire building. Sort of lounge-lizardy without all of the slime. I guess I just don't trust him.
