That's three votes for Presto from me, Katra, and Freecyclemom.

And three votes from Kelly for her Fagor Elite.

And I'll vote for Mirro. (can I vote twice since I have 2 of 'em?)

My wife bought a Presto cooker in 1961. At the time I was very upset that
she had spent around $20 for a pot of any kind to cook in. However, we still
use it and last weekend we cooked 2 racks of ribs in 35 minutes. The meat
was tender enough to cut with a fork. Best investment we ever made.

What size cooker do you have that holds 2 racks of ribs? (I know you cut
them up.) I have the 6-quart size which is just right for a good sized
roast, but I never thought to try to get ribs in there. Also, what kind of
sauce or marinade are you using to cook it?

The only kind of ribs I've made in mine is the Hawaiian Short Ribs recipe,
from the Presto recipe book. I call them my Faux Ribs. :-) I serve it on
wide egg noodles and it's pretty good. It makes for a nice, hearty
winter-time meal.

I have 2 sizes of Presto's. They just can not be beat. I think they
were rummage sale purchases years and years ago. Replacing the gaskets
every few years or so and I am rocking and rolling. I just bought a
"chicken bucket"
P cooker for $5. I see KFC in my future. Good luck

Actually, I had 5. 2 49ers, a larger one newer and 2 canners.

That's 4 more votes for Presto!

Apologies for the over-posting, Google was hanging up on me. And for
the record, I only like it about 1 vote- worth.
