Yep. Guilty as charged; however, "curious" sounds nicer than "nosey" which
always reminds me of Mrs. Cravitz (sp?) from the original Bewitched
television show. LOL

In my defense though... if you guys didn't talk such attractive trash I
wouldn't be checking things out!!

LOL! You're so much fun to tease! But you're much prettier than Mrs.
Carvitz! Don't ask how I know, I just know.

I sent Damsel a zipped copy of recipes that she had once published on her
website and subsequently lost. At least I think that's what I sent her.

If that is true...then your tailor is surely God and He created a
masterpiece. Your good looks aside, I have to admit to how much I adore the
personality that I've seen on screen. You are such a doll Wayne. Your SO
should count himself very lucky.

Cyndi, I don't think I've ever blushed this much! Don't know what to say
except thank you.

I must tell you that when I pull up the list of posts on rfc and see your
name, there's always a little smile on my face because I know that there
will be something nice or interesting or fun to read. It always makes me
happy to see you here!

That's funny, I was just looking at their ripening schedule last week. I
also noticed they have an Eckert Family Cookbook which I might order. I'm
sure it's geared around all fresh produce.

At that time, did I ask you if you remembered the Millstadt Creamery in
(obvioiusly) Millstadt, Ill.? My dad would sometimes drive us there from
St. Louis for some ice cream, and we always went home with several large
tubs of it for the chest freezer. I think it's been gone a long time,
though.

Wish we had some large farmer's markets around here.

OT: Michael, didn't you used to have a webpage?

Nope, but I would have loved it. Blackberries are one of my favorite
fruits. My grandmother and mother used to bake blackberry cobblers every
summer.

Good apple butter is hard to find.

We do have Schnepp Farms in Queen Creek, AZ, that has several festivals a
years. The one they have in the fall is probably the best, but they also
have a great peach festival. Commercially, they primarily grow oranges,
peaches, plums. A neighboring farm grows dates.

Good, then I'll order it.

Then you'll have to be sure and post the url when you've put that one up!
<G>

My websites have come and gone, though I think there's still one lingering
with cat pix on it. I do so much web design at work that I grow weary of
it for myself.

I hear ya! I was in major league burnout when I 'retired' ... not enough
money
to deal with the hours and the stress. Enough is enough.

Why do you think I now live out of town, have a toddler and grow
veggies? 15 years in IT was enough for me too...

Michael, I've done the same in the past, but my present job is much
different. I now in the IT department of a non-profit organization. Our
work week is 40 hours, and I can work from home at least 1 or 2 days a
week. Real deadlines are practically non-existent, and what they consider
a "panic" situation would have just been a minor inconvenience in my past
jobsl. This I can deal with. <g>

Not sure about the location of this post but I found it interesting. I
REALLY sympathasize with you all. I retired from IT 10+ years ago after
making it my career since 1954. Saw lots of things happen during the
time I went from a data entry clerk to operator to programmer to analyst
to management with 31 years in silicon valley. Almost went nuts more
than once. Sure glad to be retired!!

<snip conversation regarding the nude photos of Wayne>

Wayne,

I've been having a rough time re-learning html since abandoning all my
websites a few years ago. BUT! I think I've got the hang of it here,
and should be able to get your nudies up online within the week.

(You guys are gonna love the ones of Wayne and Paula Abdul in bed!)
