Okay, if you *must*, you can add some chopped leftover turkey to this at the
same time you add the broccoli ![]() 2 c. penne or ziti pasta 2 c. broccoli florets, lightly steamed 1 zucchini, diced 5 cloves garlic, sliced 1/4 c. olive oil 4 Tbs. butter 1/2 tsp. dried oregano salt & pepper 1 c. freshly grated Romano cheese Cook the pasta per package directions; drain and set aside. Saute the garlic and zucchini in olive oil over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Whisk in the butter until melted. Add the steamed broccoli florets and stir until coated with the oil/butter mixture. Season with oregano, salt & pepper. Stir this mixture into the drained pasta. Gradually add grated Romano and stir until cheese is melted. Jill |
