I made chili dogs.

I make them in a pan, side by side.
Lay the rolls out in the pan, side by side., squiggle some yellow
mustard and ketchup down the rolls. Sprinkle diced onion on to of the
mustard/ketchup. Drop heated wieners on the onion and spoon chili
down over all. Pop into the oven for 20-30 minutes at 350F
Simple salad to go with.
dinner is ready in 20 minutes.

I had a small, boneless pork chop with some white mushrooms. All
quickly fried in some dripping. Better than it sounds.

That is the dumbest commercial on TV. I'd never buy Progressive
insurance because they are so annoying.

I thought Wendy's had the dumbest commercial back in the '80s. There was an elderly guy who was a farmer and he said he had tomatoes and he reached into his pocket and put little cinnamon candies on the table saying that they were shrunken tomatoes. (If I remember correctly).

Drowning Teddy Bears is sick... little kids won't be able to sleep.

This morning I ground five pounds of pork butt and made sauseege
patties for dinner tonight and some for the freezer. Got an 8 qt pot
of tomato sauce going. We decided on Ronzoni Medium Shells for
tonight.

A ridiculous commercial is the Larry King one where he is advertising
an OTC drug that made him feel so much better. He's dead. (I saw this
a couple days ago).

The telling part is you don't know what company the ad is actually for.

I have been impressed with the new Ikea ad, but, as good as it is, it
doesn't do anything to change my attitude about them charging $5 for
curb side pick up during the pandemic shut down. I have been doing lots
of online ordering with curbside pickup and never had to pay extra. I
guess it should not be surprising, considering their outrageous delivery
charges. They had a satellite store in the city where my son lives and
he had wanted to order some stuff. I can understand them charging to
delivery a house, but they wanted $75 to deliver it to the store where
he would have to pick it up.

Somebody coined that on March 12th, 2 days after the commercial was
released. I don't even remember what the commercial as for, and I
don't care. Commercials don't work on me.

"There were no such thing as Palestinians. When was there an independent Palestinian people with a Palestinian state? It was either southern Syria before the First World War, and then it was a Palestine including Jordan. It was not as though there was a Palestinian people in Palestine considering itself as a Palestinian people and we came and threw them out and took their country away from them. They did not exist..."

Yes! I *bake* a pound of bacon at a time on a slotted broiler pan lined
with foil for easy cleanup, portion it out and freeze it.

I also keep a couple of packages of pre-cooked shelf-stable bacon in the
pantry in case I suddenly find - ooops, I want bacon but there isn't any
in the freezer! A couple of slices zapped in the microwave and it gets
crisp.

Note: Mostly the pre-cooked bacon is part of my "in case of extended
power outage" food stash.

I had Chili dogs last night, too. I broil them in the toaster oven,
toppped with hot dog chili sauce, mild cheddar, and red onion.

The brand of chili dog sauce I used wasn't very good (Hill Country
Fare). I usually buy
Nalley's/AusxTex/Castleberrys/IforgetWhatTheyCallItNowAfterTheyKilledSomePeople.

I use Nallley's too. I use the Costco hot dogs. and sometimes Costco
long buns but I prefer the Albertsons bakery buns as they are firmer.
