![]() Remember we were discussing this series a few months ago? Have you seen the 2019 movie he starred in entitled "Torpedo: U-235"? Rotten Tomatoes only gave it 2 stars out of 5 while Amazon gives it 4 stars out of 5. If you like action/adventure you might want to give it a shot. But he's certainly not compulsive/obsessive Professor T in this vehicle. |

If I remember correctly, that 60s look was intentional. Also, the music was deliberately dated and very orchestral. I think Koen De Bouw's a good actor. They use him a lot, though. Nobody cares about them except for eastern europe and most Americans don't care about eastern europe and all their bickering. I'll bet you many Americans couldn't name every state on a blank USA map correctly. I tried it got at least 6 wrong. Maybe a few more. I knew the general areas but messed up some states side by side. |

The don and his wife at Mar-el-Lago probably can't point stuff out on maps, either. Or even simply google where it is, like Bruce. > Speaking of the mob and Don (aka Godfather)... Remember way back when John Gotti was considered the NYC mafia Godfather? I remember seeing a small article on page 2 of my newspaper one day at that time. A petty thief with a long history of muggings and robbery saw a priest walking with an old lady one night. He assulted the priest then turned and punched out the old lady, grabbed her purse and took off running. Some helpful citizens saw that and they tackled the guy as he tried to run past them. They called the cops and he was arrested. Later, in the interrogation room, the guy was very arrogant. He had been in jail many times before (short sentences) and didn't mind doing a bit more time. "Go ahead and convict me. I don't care. I'll be out in a year or two anyway." That's when the detective informed him that the priest he assaulted was John Gotti's brother and the old lady was his mother. The suspect visibly paled and shut his mouth when he heard that. LOLOL I never did see a follow-up to that story. I should google it. I just made a note to do that today. |
