Watching John Oliver I saw an interesing tidbit about forks. We don't
need no stinkin' forks. https://leitesculinaria.com/1157/wri...gins-fork.html Imagine the astonishment then when in 1004 Maria Argyropoulina, Greek niece of Byzantine Emperor Basil II, showed up in Venice for her marriage to Giovanni, son of the Pietro Orseolo II, the Doge of Venice, with a case of golden forks€”and then proceeded to use them at the wedding feast. They werent exactly a hit. She was roundly condemned by the local clergy for her decadence, with one going so far as to say, €śGod in his wisdom has provided man with natural forks€”his fingers. Therefore it is an insult to him to substitute artificial metal forks for them when eating. |

I predict that eating with your fingers will be a thing in America in the future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpsinjKdHCU&t=285s |

It has been for awhile? Burgers, sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, hot pockets and most fried foods. |

Burgers, sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, hot pockets and most fried foods. Hot pockets? I'm talking about food that's worth eating. ![]() |

I'm talking about food that's worth eating. ![]() Buy any pizza flavored hot pockets, cut them open (the long side) open faced and put in the oven 400 F degrees for 13 minutes. Not bad, huh? |

I'm with dsi1 on this. I'd rather take the time to make pizza from scratch, even if it's a 24-hour wait for the dough to ferment. Cindy Hamilton |
