....which were as many digits as my old HP Calculator had when I had when I was in High School, LSD (or Lindberg High School), where I met Bryan retaking Freshman English. We both knew English very well, so we taught Mr Gormly a Business teacher, how to teach High School Freshman English!

Bryan and John failed high school english so they had to retake it in summer school. However, they both knew it so well, they taught the teacher how to teach HS English. That's not pot thinking. More like the summer of LSD. Also the origin of Beavis and Butthead. |

Get back on your friggin' Seroquel (not a half dose this time, it ain't working) and forget about Bryan. Forget about the 1970's, too. It's over. Jill |

You once recommended Haagen Dasz ice cream because it doesn't have the huge ingredient list that ice cream tends to have. The other day, we bought some. Only 3 ingredients and all 3 were perfectly normal. No mumbo jumbo and it tasted great. By the way, Haagen Dasz is an American brand. They used a made-up "foreign" name for marketing reasons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%A4agen-Dazs -- The real Bruce posts with Eternal September |

(old Betty Crocker recipe) I've never had a decent store bought pie crust. Sheldon thinks the cute deer and the antelope love to eat all the food scraps he tosses outside. It's actually the large rat colony that lives underneath his back deck. The food scraps are their main source of food. Even the "feral" cats know not to mess with the rats. |

I even made a top and bottom crust from scratch. It never made it to the freezer...I ate it all in 2 days. |

The bakery I patronize makes very good pie crust (lard, butter, or a combination). You'd balk at the price of a pie, though. Cindy Hamilton |

In the last few months I have bought to very small pies from there, enough for two small servings or one very generous serving.... apple ginger. It's a real treat. $6 doesn't break the bank. I could make a whole pie for less, but then I would have to eat all the carbs and fat. |

Typical flour pie crust reminds me of motza or soda crackers. The only pie crusts I enjoy are graham cracker crumb and other cookie crumb crusts... Nutter Butter cookie crumbs are very good for a cheeze cake pie crust. I like pudding filled pies but I'm not fond of fruit filled pies, they're either too juicy or too dry. With most apple pie fillings I've tried the apples are way over cooked or practically raw, and not properly cored, they contain those sharp bits of core. And raspberry/blackberry fillings are full of seeds. Pie is not a favorite baked good, I much prefer sticky cinnamon buns. I don't like fried donuts, I much prefer baked donuts... I don't consider fried donuts a form of baking. Fried donuts are in fact cheapo carnival crap, glorified funnel cake, perhaps a baby step ahead of cotton candy. |

There's no such thing as a good store bought pie crust unless you're trying to win an over sized butt contest. >The bakery I patronize makes very good pie crust (lard, >butter, or a combination).
