Default Baked goods - on NOT eating poorly made goods

From Miss Manners. MM's last paragraph is good, but not explicit enough. That is, the LW made it clear to MM that she'd be happy not to have ANY more baked goods. So, for the sake of saving the neighboring kids' time and effort (not to mention the LW's likely aversion to wasting food - waste is no laughing matter), it would be better to do something like what the top-rated commentator said. Namely, LW should tell the mother, privately, that it's just too bad, but, for health reasons, she just can't accept the little darlings' cookies anymore. Except maybe once or twice a year, if she wants to say that.

(Note that I suggested that the LW say "it's too bad," not "I'm sorry." All too often, women use the latter phrase when they shouldn't. "I'm sorry" really only needs to be said about 1 out of every 5 times. Otherwise, one can usually just say "excuse me.")

I've been seeing new cupcakes in the stores, like the Unicorn theme. Another was a Valentine's day special chocolate cake, chocolate frosting with pinkish raspberry filling. Then I saw an all white cupcake both cake & frosting. All new.
