So there are problems with electronic vehicles. Are you aware of the
problems with fossil fuel vehicles?

Ed's aware of both. (The evidence is a recent post of his on alt.home.repair.)

Kuthe seems to think electric vehicles have no externalities and run on fairy dust.

Ed's always talking like a negative Pelosi about RV's. As if fossil
fuel vehicles aren't a huge problem.

Where did I say that? Now you are making up crap. Just be careful what
you replace fossil fuels with. New technology is being developed and
perhaps we should slow down before tearing up the environment.

Everything has a cost. Be aware of it and then decide what you want to
pay. Some green things are really a muddy brown.

In a few years California won't allow the sale of ICE auto. They can't
keep the lights on as it is, what is the plan to charge them?

Near me there are quite a few apartments going up. One complex has
about a hundred, the other about 300. Not a single charger that I can
see. I guess you drop an extension cord from your 3rd floor apartment.

Plan for the change now. If not, there will be a lot of EVs being towed
to a charging station.

The planet's going to shit. We have to become greener. That should be
the starting point of everything.

The planet has become much greener since 2000. The Sahara Desert has
shrunk by 8% That is CO2 at work.

My guess is that we'll be using nuclear power in the future for most of our energy. Even the greenies are beginning to realize that it's likely to be the only way to cut fossil fuel usage to zero. OTOH, I've been saying that for a decade.
