The overhead view is very handy, as is the cross traffic alert backing
out of a spot next to a big pickup and you have no view.

These are not benefits I thought I needed ingoing, but they have been
delightful, as have the winter treats of heated seats and steering
wheel.These will now be requirements.

In Hawaii, I used the feature to give other people the "hot seat." Heck, I even did that to my dad. I did use it once when things got a little cold but you'll never hear me admit that I'm a big pussy. OTOH, yoose guys certainly need it.

I'd like to have the side mirror defrosters. I don't have that.

I have them and they are a nice feature. But here's a low-tech solution for
you. Just loosely tie a plastic bag (Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, etc.)
on each mirror to keep the frost and ice off them. Remove, throw in the
back of your vehicle for use again each night.

Here's a post about "cars with snow", check out the second pic, that '58 Olds is ENCRUSTED with snow, as are the others, very few cars had rear defrosters:

'Four Interesting Snow Shots From Days Gone By

Todays lead image and the picture below are press photos that originate from an unknown Syracuse, NY, area newspaper. The shot above of a mystery car includes an €śOswego man in December of 1958€ť taking a photograph of the vehicle buried under a mushroom cloud of snow. Apparently, everything from the roof on down was cleared of snow, and the car was driven afterward and parked.

The lead image and first photo below are courtesy of syracuse.com . All images were found via Cars in snow or freezing conditions...'

Why? Why won't it work? Can you not tie a loose knot in a plastic
grocery bag and remove it the next day? The knotted portion of
the bag should be hanging down, facing the pavement.
