Strawberry Onions
Never hears of such a thing but at the farm stand the owner gave me one.
Very sweet, great for salads and the greens are too. Like a scallion but the size of a small grapefruit. Why do they plant onions around Strawberry Fields? Farmers plant strawberry onions around the perimeter of strawberry fields to help keep pests away from the strawberries. ...
