I think what he's saying in his typically inept way, is that if he's vaccinated,
he won't be able to pass it to his client.

Of course he can ! As a nurse he should know that.

What on earth is wrong with your public health advisors?

FYI, covid vaccination does not prevent covid infection; all it does
is reduce the severity so that if infected you won't get as sick or
require hospital treatment. Nor does it mean that vaccinated people
can't carry the virus and pass it to other people . In UK, vaccinated
people (like me) are repeatedly warned that TO PROTECT OTHER PEOPLE we
must continue to socially distance, wash hands, wear masks in public
etc.

covid-19-after-getting-a-vaccine-what-to-know

Since last year my husband and I are both taking part in a govt
national covid survey to track its spread and incidence. For this we
have to get covid tested at regular intervals (all results negative so
far) and answer a detailed survey of our recent health and social
contacts. Even though we've already had our firat vaccinations and have
a date for the next, our regular covid screening tests will continue for
the next YEAR. Because. we can still catch, carry and transmit covid.

What public health advisors?

I have actually not been paying too much attention to the vaccines. It'll be
a fairly long time before I can get one. I'm just hoping that when my husband
is vaccinated, I can get one, too.

It's an uphill slog getting people to do those basic things. Millions of them
think masks are not effective, that social distancing is not necessary, and
I try not to think about their handwashing practices.

There's a reason North Dakota has more cases per capita than any other
state:

North Dakota €” 12,837 per 100,000 population
Population: 762,062 residents

The Arkansas legislature has now passed a bill that would turn churches
into potential virus super-spreaders by blocking the governor from shutting
down churches in the event of another pandemic.

€śFreedom will destroy itself if it is not exercised within some sort of moral framework, some body of shared beliefs, some spiritual heritage transmitted through the Church, the family, and the school...€ť

Temporarily shutting down churches will have no effect on the spiritual blah blah blah.

You'd be better off fretting about television, Youtube, and Instagram.

Nurses could have gotten their second dose by now. Howe did you ever
expect to get hired as a nurse without one? And you want to work as
my child's nurse? **** you!
