Have a Stupid Phone? No, IT HAS YOU!

I only have a little Flip Phone in a state of OFF most of the time.

Did you read the entire article, or only half?

I gave it a skim. I honestly don't see what Big Data gets out of
tracking that I drive to work every day and the grocery store once
a week. I don't use the browser or any apps (apart from the 2FA app
that makes it more convenient for me to log in securely at work).
I vanishingly rarely get a phone call or text that isn't spam, which
are usually ignored.

It's a one-way street. I don't use Facebook or any other social media
site. My brain is safe from Zuckerberg and his buds.

I don't do social media. I don't drive to work, I'm already at work,
most driving I do is by tractor. I drive my car maybe 15 miles a
week, like tomorrow I'll be driving to my dentist, five miles one way,
and while there I will pick up some groceries at Tops Market, same
shopping plaza. I used to enjoy driving but not anymore, I wish I
didn't need to drive and have a licence.

I can't get or make texts, I only have a flip phone and only for my
use in emergencies... I have it for five years now and have had no
emergencies so I've yet to call anyone other than the first day I had
it I called my land line to see if it worked. I've never done
texting, I've no idea how.

If there were still payphones on every corner I'd have no use for that
flip phone, for me it wastes $7/wk, I never turn it on. I make and
receive very few calls on my land line, I've never been a telephone
yacker. To communicate with the few people I communicate with email
works for me. I gave up phoning the few people I know who are still
alive, nowadays everyone seems to use caller ID and will maybe phone
back days later. I have a sure way to make my phone ring, all I need
to do is hop in the shower, soon as I'm wet the phone rings, typically
a spammer.

And lately I do very little private email because very few people I
know are still alive. Most of my PC use is shopping on line and RFC
which these days has deteriorated to a big fat ZERO. At most I make
one rambling post a day saying nothing of consequence showing I'm
alive, however no one cares, I even stopped posting photos.

Nobody gives a shit about you, KOOKthe. Nobody cares about your
stupid opinions, what you read online, the potatoes you cook, the
jobs you can't get, or anything else about you. **** off and drop
dead.
