I like it here in southern Ontario. Winters are relatively mild. Summers
are generally very pleasant. We don't get floods, hurricanes,
earthquakes, forest fires. Blizzards and tornadoes are rare. It was
about -4 C (25 F) here this morning went we went for a walk in the
woods. There is about 4" of snow. It was quite pleasant.

It snowed here last night and continued this morning, a bit over 6"
and 18ºF. We sometimes sweep or shovel a light snow otherwise we
plow with the tractor. I'm sure you can't sweep six inches of snow.
And that snow melt crap is more polluting than gasolene... if there's
ice where we walk we use sand or cat litter. We also have anti slip
things we strap onto our shoes... some people save their old golf

Because I had my gas guzzling Dodge 2008 before I had my non-gasoline burning Leaf, Baby II is pretty and runs well and is great for long distances and sounds FANTASTIC!

Missouri has one nuclear power plant, and some hydroelectric, but it
is a coal intensive power grid.

those containers with you and have them recycle it for
you. just say it is waste oil to be recycled. should

Good idea, I had not thought of that. It would work for heating, but
probably make loads of smoke. I would not want to use it in an expensive

Some people like to dump dangerous chemicals into heaing oil or diesel
to dispose of them covertly.

i think they will, but you can always ask them if it
isn't specifically listed. in fact they prefer it since
they want to avoid possible cross-contamination issues
(very similar to food processing safety concerns).

correct. most of it is likely to be harmless or easily
disposed but the mercury is one for sure worth doing properly.
