It's not an original toffee recipe. He has stated many times it's a JOC
recipe. Anyone with that cookbook could make the toffee.

It doesn't matter. Most, if not all, recipes already existed or are
based on something existing. Make it well, market it well and sell it
well, that's what counts.

Like "Krazy Kuth's LOO Toffee" That has a nice ring.

Maybe some colorful clowns giving it away to children in the
commercial.

the saltine cracker crunch stuff is great and not that
much work in comparison.

I did not create the recipe, but I'll bet no one else makes it! And I have a big Tupperware container with some of it sitting on my Front Table right now!

His toffee is covered in melted chocolate, no cracker crunch anthing.
It probably tastes great but he's never successfully sold any. He has
an unfinished web site which he cannot seem to figure out how deal with.
(He even says so right on the site - he can't figure out the software.)

I'm sure the toffee is delicious. Again, it's a recipe he got from a
cookbook. That aside, I'm not sure why he keeps posting the url to an
incomplete website. It's just chatter.

I have a recipe for very buttery "English" toffee with chopped almonds
topped with melted chocolate that can be mostly cooked in the microwave.
The recipe came from an old microwave cookbook and yes, I have made it.
It's almond toffee topped with melted chocolate. It tastes better
than Heath Bars. Maybe I should post that recipe.

Replicating "Heath Bars" or making chocolate topped toffee isn't all
that difficult. I don't know why he thinks his toffee is so thrilling
or why we need to keep hearing about it. He's like a broken record.
It's sad.

He's definitely not selling any of it, no matter how many times he posts
the link to his incomplete web site.

I found an alt.job for you, John.
Watched a documentary last week of a company located in St.Louis that
makes and sells candy successfully.

You have the experience to get a job there and you could learn from them
too. Take some of your candy to the interview.

that's it. just let it go on by. i mean, i'm much the same
way, i come here to just chat about whatever, but the topic of
food and cooking is fun enough. so that happens too and i do
try to keep on topic enough to be fitting.

it isn't easy work and the people have to pay attention to
details and actually finish the tasks involved and not just
wander away when something shiny and new comes along or they
get interrupted or they talk too much. things which don't
seem to be his strong points.

note, i've made thousands of candies of various kinds and
have relatives in the chocolate/candy making business for
hundreds of years of combined experience.

Which is about TWO days a year, meaning MAYBE 50 daze TOTAL, not "over 30 years"...and not everyone operates on "Kuthe Standard Laggard Time", ya know...

Whoosh, right over your head. (You consider toffee or chocolate covered

Why don't you learn to block the nymshifting asshole, or at least ignore
him. He is doing it to annoy you and your reaction is all the reward he
is looking for. If you learned to ignore him he would likely get bored
and stop doing it.

The nymshifter is a pretty sad example of humanity but I doubt there
would be much gratification for him if Kuthe was not giving him the
reaction he was aiming for.

Nope, nor can I set up a rule in my Gmail to BLOCK the emails my GoogleGroup posts send to it, as Google is ONE MEGAMONOPOLY and only follows it's one rule to ultra profit, Surveillance Capitalism! Google was not even profitable until it took up Surveillance Capitalism!

And you all support it with your Stupid Phones!

No one is forcing you to use Google. Perhaps you should become
enlightened and get an actual newsreader. Nope, you can't, because that
would give you one less thing to YELL about.
