We can get French fries all over the place but that's about it. The good news is that we can get mashed potatoes at KFC. The bad news is that it's KFC mashed potatoes. Which are reconstituted powdered potatoes. Those are easy and cheap, and don't taste appreciably different from the boxes they're packaged in. I wasn't always a food snob. When I was in my 20s, I smoked cigarettes, which meant that I could consume awful food w/o finding it objectionable. Imagine working 3rd shift, and lunch being a whole package of this: https://www.innit.com/nutrition/banq...00031000113025 instant mashed potatoes and instant coffee. Then I'd go home and chug super cheap swill beer. --Bryan |

I have been looking for large size container of dehydrated sliced potatoes. That would be just great but it's not available. Then, I would be making cheesy potatoes a lot. |
