Default Dinner tonight - Nov 1

I've a hankering for a bacon sandwich. I bought some thick-sliced back
bacon and have a loaf of the bread I made last week (from the freezer) so
I'll make a couple of bacon "doorsteps".

Interesting, I had a hankering for a bacon sandwich yesterday. Very ordinary, bacon on a sesame hamburger bun with mayo, cheddar cheese and lettuce, but it hit the spot...

Show us a pic of yours, graham, if you can :-)

Nice.

We're having dinner this afternoon. The turkey just came out of the oven and
is resting. He'll have rice with his. I'm having baked acorn squash with mine.

I haven't had one of those in years. Good eating to you.

There was one good size serving of chicken pot pie left over from last night.
I just scarfed it down about 10 minutes ago after a slow heating in the toaster
oven.

I'm having some steamed broccoli, spicy kung pao chicken, and spicy eggplant tofu. I bought the plate from the fast food restaurant down the street. The joint also included a fortune cookie. I have a container of local made fortune cookies so I was able to compare the two. The local one was twice as big as the fast food joint's. The fast food cookie was made for mainland taste because it had vanilla flavoring. I like the local fortune better - it's the one with black lettering.
