Steve is one of the few persons here who actually knows how to cook, though I wouldn't want to eat most of his concoctions--hey, I'm the Food Snob. Bruce, if you really want to convince folks to eat more vegetarian meals, you should post more on topic. You won't get many takers for pea protein fake meat, but there are great preparations that happen to not include animal flesh. What the heck do you eat? --Bryan |

You won't get many takers for pea protein fake meat, but there are great preparations that happen to not include animal flesh. What the heck do you eat? The best meat replacement or vegetarian protein or whatever you want to call it is tempeh for me. Home made is the best, but it's a bit of work and I don't want to poison ourselves. Supermarket tempeh is ok too. I recently found a mom & pop tempeh producer that started doing mail order. That's excellent. |

When I got home after a game of chess, having missed school or something, they always made me feel very welcome; I didn't feel guilty at all about pursuing chess with such fervour. They never, for instance, perceived sports as a rival to academics.-- Viswanathan Anand |
