For several weeks, weve had intermittent smoke from one or several of the
many Cal wildfires. A few times, it has smelled like sitting around a campfire in our home and worse outside. Today, the smoke must be at high altitude, because its not hazy and smokeless here, right now. I took a picture of the Sun from in front of the house around eight this morning. The Sun appears redder to the naked eye, but a red corona is visible in the picture. Were breaking heat records daily, but the humidity was 8% yesterday at 100F. Thats bearable. A cold front will drop the temp to 83F on Tuesday for the day. Then its up to a measly 90F for a while. Dry lightning torched California, for the most part. <https://postimg.cc/SnHsHSy9> leo |
