I eat A LOT of cauliflower, sorry if the picture was a little blurry but I really was in a hurry to eat it. It made sesame chicken taste poorly. well to be honest they actually tasted very similar but the cauliflower version had very little fat and no cholesterol, no gluten so it was in the end so so much more enjoyable -- ____/~~~sine qua non~~~\____ |

I'm guessing >some carbs? Don't worry so much about dietary cholesterol, >particularly if you're eating fairly low carb. Well there is this Chicken Breast: 284 Calories calories: 284. Protein: 53.4 grams. Carbs: 0 grams. Fat: 6.2 grams. A serving is 1 cup, or about 100 grams, of chopped cauliflower. One serving of raw or cooked cauliflower has: 25 calories. 0 grams of fat. 5 grams of carbohydrates. 2 grams of dietary fiber. 2 grams of sugar. 2 grams of protein. 30 milligrams of sodium. I am telling you now that carbs mean nothing. I mean nothing at all. Cutting or increasing your carbs does nothing. That is at least for me. I added A LOT of carbs I mean A LOT! I must have added 30-50 grams of carbs and I have lost 11 lbs in the last three weeks. It was the cut in fats and cholesterol and the addition of fiber is what I believe helped me out. All of these numbers for both groups do not count the sauce or sesame seeds. You must also understand the differences in the different kinds of carbs. There are the natural carbs such as those found in fruits and veg and then there are refined carbs like those found in processed foods like sugar-sweetened beverages, fruit juices, pastries, white bread, white pasta, white rice and others There is one bad thing about me eating so much cauliflower though.... -- ____/~~~sine qua non~~~\____ |
