Default I would like to make come Jesus foods for Christmas

Christmas is NOT about Santa Claus, reindeer, ornaments, and gifts.
That's what the greedy businesses want it to be so they can get wealthy.
We do not go to gift stores, decorate, or waste electricity on colored
lights. We do not kill trees to put in our home. We do not do Black
Friday, or do "Christmas shopping". We do not associate with Santa Claus
actors, or watch movies about that fake side of the holiday.

Christmas IS about Jesus Christ. That means peace, love, family and
happiness. My family does not give store bought gifts. But we share
things we make. These are often foods, since we all need to eat. But
they can also be toys, things to wear, pets, or items to put in our
home.

I want to prepare some foods that would be suitable for Jesus in his
time in history. This can be cooked dishes, deserts, beverages, cookies,
candy etc.

What can I make?

Recipes appreciated.

Cookies and candy. LOL.

I don't think you really want to follow through with this idea, nobody
will enjoy the food, assuming you can even source authentic
ingredients.

She could at least serve coca cola. I'm sure Jesus drank that. It
would be unpatriotic not to.

Well if you want to make and prepare foods that are jesus themed then
that is incredibly simple... Get your entire family around a table and
imagine a table full of food then imagine yourself eating it then
imagine yourself as being completely full. Then lie to each other and
say that was the best meal ever. Then proceed to murder each other (or
at least imagine you murder each other because jesus never lived or
died so have fun!!

PS. Jesus never had a time in history the catholic church made the
entire thing up. Jesus was a mythical being recreated in a Jewish
image that was based on the Egyptian god Horus.

Well since jesus was completely a imagined being then any foods that
could be imagined would be suitable...
For instance I have a pumpkin growing in my herb garden that I never
planted and it is constantly weeping dark chocolate... In another herb
garden I have a watermelon sized steak that is perfectly grilled and
it just keeps getting bigger and bigger! I even have a coffee tree
that does not produce sap it produces coffee by the cup with 1 sugar
and 1 cream already mixed in and stirred an not too hot but definitely
not cold.

I have one of those little kiddy pools and every morning there are
fresh cauliflower that appear like magic...

Ya see imagined things can be fun, or in the case of a god/jesus they
may be evil and murder you, rape your children, rape your wife,
torture your parents then murder then also. I mean that is if that
christian god has its way.

Blah, blah, blah. If troll Marilyn is really interested in "foods that would
be suitable for Jesus in his time in history" she(?) has the internet at her(?)
fingertips to search for historical foods.

Another lazy ass wanting someone else to do the searching for her(?).

Debatable whether or not he was a completely a imagined being, or
whether his background and exploits have been highly exaggerated, etc.

I'm a an atheist myself, and much prefer Buddhism. But your
antagonistic obsession with religion is a bit much for my tastes... or
maybe it's just the analogies you use. Anyway, I'm off for my morning
walk now.

I think you're a little off on the "imagined being" part. I've never heard anybody suggest that Jesus didn't exist. Some of his life might have been "juiced up" a tiny bit but that happens to most figures in history.

This is easy. He was born on Christmas day so the most suitable food
would be mother's milk.

The rest of the crowd would be drinking beer and wine. Probably would
cook up a lamb for a celebration.

Don't forget the wine. Jeasus could whip some up out of thin air I
suppose, but good to let the old guy rest sometimes.

Here you go:

Avoid tomatoes and hot peppers; they were brought over from the New World.

No it is a bit of common sense, Fact is harry potter can not exist so
that rules out the magical jesus. As far as the rest there may have
been a person, in fact there most likely have been several that all
did different things and one name got credit for it all. I am not
talking about healing the blind or creating magical food, I am talking
about there being one or more people that were just preachers of that
day. There was no actual jesus christ, that part is completely
fiction. The name christ comes from christos which means anointed one
and anyone at that time could have been rubbed with oil or water or
whatever. In fact with all the crazy superstitions at that time I
would suspect that there were many christos at that time.

In fact tactus mentioned christos but the catholics took that as one
person in particular, which chances are it was not a specific person
named jesus christ of the potter clan that was supposed to have powers
of the potter.
The catholics realized that the people needed a hero so they used this
christos changed to christ and imbued it with the stories of past
gods, in fact almost verbatim that of Horus the god son of god Osiris.
I mean almost verbatim from birth to death.

So there was not ever a jesus christ, it was 100 % an imaginary fairy
tale or myth or a BS story, take your pick.

Well Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny do not exist. Fairies too. Jesus was just a preacher 2000 years ago that had a good group of publicists. That makes more sense that him being some kind of Easter Bunny or Harry Potter folktale. I have no problem with you believing he's Santa Claus. You'd be a lot more believable if you didn't have an agenda - being an atheist preacher and all.

I'm no preacher because I don't really give a shit about the beliefs of others. Just because I'm more knowledgeable about the world's religion doesn't mean I'm a religious freak. Mostly, it means that I've taken classes in world religion. My son knows a lot more about religion than I do. I've never seen him carrying a bible. Sorry to burst your bubble of religious misattribution. Evidently, you know nothing about me. Better luck next time.

It is so funny that people think because they have taken classes about
religion they know a good deal about it, when in fact they know very
little. I am willing to bet that you did not know most of that stuff I
posted in my last post. I am also fairly sure you dont know that the
entire story of a jesus christ was written some 300 years after it was
supposed to have lived and the ONLY proof of a christ or "Christos"
was what tactus had written that was incorrectly used or just plain
lied about by the catholics that wrote the new testament.

Exactly. Hiwaiians don't have any supernatural deities, and have
never worshiped any gods. Ever.

wrote the whole goddamned bible.

Now you tell me they didn't even write the new testament?

Dude it is not a matter of belief. The story of Jesus Christ is
verbatim of the Egyptian god Horus, from birth to death, no matte how
many theist sites say that it is not the same there is a version of
the story that is exactly the same. There are so many different
stories about the one god. Funny thing is though the story of jesus
christ is also very much like the story of Hercules. The god comes
down rapes a human woman (just like the christian god) then gives
birth to a son who is a man of the people. Or a hero to the people.
The story of jesus christ is also very much like Thor. The same story
has been told so many times...
