Default Nice day, nice lunch

Today was a very nice day, sunny and a bit cooler than it has been so .
.. . .
I headed out to Anna Marie Island for lunch. It is a resort town but at
the northern end is the Sandbox restaurant. One row of tables is
actually in the sand on the beach.

It was nice to be outside in the shade sipping a margarita, watching the
gulf while waiting for my stuffed shrimp.

Nice. I never did get around to having lunch today. I had to get up
early and take my wife to see the ophthalmologist in Hamilton, almost an
hour drive from here, drop her off and kill an hour and a half, and then
the drive home.

While she was there I went out for a coffee and then went to Starsky, an
incredible eastern European grocery store and then went for a coffee. We
took a slightly different route home, going just two miles out of my way
to a recently opened Costco. Then, since we were in the area, a stop
at a Dutch butcher for four pounds of their bacon, two for me and two
for my buddy.

We stopped at a good coffee shop for a coffee and muffin. I guess
that was my lunch.

Supper.... Tandoori chicken.

Hey Ed. Good to see you are on the move. Sadly, I think I will be on the same path.

If I read this right, I'm sad for you. Just make everyday a
good one with her. Best wishes and hang in there.
