Yes, Yes I do.

My Gardener

He's younger than me and ever so sweet.
Sometimes he's a little clumsy on his feet.
But that's fine with me as he works very hard.
Both inside the house and out in the yard.
He planted a tree and bushes too.
There's nary a thing he will not do.
He fixed the lights in the laundry room.
He swept my deck off with a broom.
Earlier he mopped the kitchen floor.
He installed a new knob on the door.
The kitchen door got fixed as well.
Oh yes, my gardener is very swell!
My sliding door? Well, now it locks.
Scrawny is he but strong as an ox.
He hauled away crap my ex behind.
It was a lot of work, but he didn't mind.
He cleaned the weeds from the fire pit.
Even in the dark, he will not quit.
He somehow fixed the washing machine.
So now our clothes are nice and clean.
He tells me jokes and makes me grin.
I feel like he's my next of kin.
He loves my muffins made of corn.
He eats the leftovers in the morn.
My soup of beans he does adore.
I make plenty as he will want more.
He likes to eat nutty brown rice,
And tells me my cooking is really nice.
Boston Terrier is the breed of his pup.
He's a good little guy and never acts up.
I'm very happy to have them here.
For both of them are really quite dear.
Those who say bad things are full of hate.
They're trying to get me to take their bait.
Or maybe they're jealous. I do not know.
But they really put on a drama show.
I couldn't ask for a better worker.
One thing he isn't, is a duty shirker.
I see nothing but good times ahead.
But it's getting late so I'm going to bed!
