I bought some mixed nuts, sans peanuts, to snack on during a 7hr drive.
There must have been 60% almonds in the mix.

Not your brand then, but generally speaking, when something's a mix,
they'll put in 95% cheap stuff with 5% expensive stuff, and then
display the expensive stuff prominently on the packaging.

This mix of nuts I got was not in any picture-laden packaging, but clear plastic!

And sometimes they don't even have one of the expensive nuts pictured in the
actual can.

D. doesn't like almonds, so I buy the nuts he does like, separately and mix
them together

Nothing extraordinary there. I buy the nuts I prefer: pecans, pistachios,
cashews.

We can see right through your transparent self-packaging, to the
shrivelled old nut inside.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 1989/1990 when I had my first major exacerbation which put me in a wheelchair, unable to move or feel anything (yes that part too!) from my wait down! Yes I was unable to walk, and I found I was unable to do a few other physical things I'd always loved doing.

But I got better! Not ALL the way better, but pretty good!

Curb Your Enthusiasm tackled that in an episode with David Schwimmer and
his father's company's cashew and raisin mix.

I sure DON'T do that with my Christmas Candy!!

But the other thing I don't do with my Christmas Candy is SELL IT! So I don't have to worry so much about monetary cost. Never did either! In 30+ years!
