Use it like you would use cabbage leaves, i.e. as a wrapper for a filling. Steam/roast until tender. Large kale leaves make a good (and edible!) substitute for banana leaves or corn husks (or parchment paper, or aluminum foil, or ... ) I also use large horseradish leaves this way, if the wrapped food is compatible with the mild horseradishy pungency of the leaves.) -- Silvar Beitel |
