Â* It's not that there are no questions , just none that you can
actually answer ... like why can't I pull up info on my hard drives in
Admin tools , Win XP Pro 64 bit OS .

Â* Really ? Then why is that option available in every other version of
Windows running on my system ? (FYI , those are Win7 Pro/64 , Win7
Ultimate/64 , Win XP Pro/32 , Win XP Home/32 , and Win Vista Ultimate/64
- all but the 2 laptops being custom builds by Yours Truly.) Just admit
you're totally clueless and give us all a break .

What is the physical disk partition layout of a typical factory
installed Windows 8 or Windows 10 laptop with a UEFI bios and GPT

For example Bill Gates being frustrated that he could not own the Internet invented all his OWN TERMS for things that already had de facto names!

Confusing everything!

Microsoft didn't try and "rename" anything. They tried to make many
proprietary platform-dependant technical standards protocols that
failed. ActiveX instead of JavaBeans. Visual Basic (and Visual
Studio) instead of Java. And dozens of networking and
internetworking protocols for which there were already publicly
available implementations and for which they were based upon
(including TCP/IP layers themselves).

They didn't try and rename anything outright, they just tried to
produce their own propriety "value-added" versions of those same
technologies.

Now, don't you think this better explains what you trying to say?

Uh... disk partition tables are hardware - they are required for teh
hardware to operate. Or do you only deal in the kind of hardware
doesn't require electricity?

Um, disks are MAGNETIC MEDIA, right?

Magnetic patterns are imprinted magnetically! Those patterns are generated with SOFTWARE!

Right, and cars are manufactured using software. Therefore cars are
software.

Would you admit that Sqwertz knows more about computers than you?

You said you have a "computer engineering degree" which is primarily
a SOFWTARE degree, not an electrical degree. You didn't know that
after 6 years of college studying for that degree?

Then you asked for "computer questions". And when you don't know
the answer you try and complicate the issue and change the rules.

Just admit you're a dumbass and move along, OK?
