Default bbq sauce

I followed this recipe with some alterations:

<https://amazingribs.com/tested-recipes/barbecue-sauce-recipes/kc-classic-bbq-sauce-recipe>

I left out the steak sauce and hot sauce, and honey, and halved the sugar.
It was still too sweet for me so I added a generous amount of vinegar.

Oh yeah instead of ketchup I used tomato sauce, and used almost twice as
much as in the recipe.

My version turned out really good, as far as I'm concerned. I put it on
chicken. As I look back at the recipe I see that it's supposed to be
sweet, but I managed to keep it from tasting like candy.

I bet it was good! The original is so sweet looking, I would have
tossd it and the meat on first taste.
