Default odd story

Yesterday I went to the garage, my lawn tractor wasn't there, just a big empty space where it should be, I looked and looked and decided to open the garage door, after I did that I turned around the tractor was right where it should be. The garage doors are jammed so I couldn't them from the outside with the keys. Possible answers are aliens, ghosts, elves etc, if it went to another dimension you wouldn't think it would have come back.

I have experienced this before. Your brain is unable to recognize what you are looking for. Typically, I'll stop and try to imagine in my mind the object I'm looking for. Typically, it doesn't work. Sometimes it's better to stop looking for a period of time until your brain is once again able to function correctly again. Better yet, just get a new set of eyes on the case. It is a heck of an interesting phenomenon.

Didn't Sheldon make a post about a tractor?

I think I walked through the space where the tractor should have been tho and didn't bump into it.
