Default Divinity candy - question

My aunt used to make divinity fudge for all the holidays, I was the only one in the family who didn't eat it. It tastes like sweet styrofoam to me.

Denise in NH, awaiting another damn snowstorm. We hardly had any snow all winter, but March has been a pain.

To me, divinity is sickeningly sweet. I can't stand the stuff. My mom made
it. I think she put pecans in it.

My mother made sea foam candy (brown-sugar divinity). I hated it. Like
you, it was the texture that I found offputting. I preferred the easy
chow-mein noodle candies to the divinity that she slaved over.

Parts of NV get tons of snow, but mostly NV is dry... I came very
close to retiring in Carson City.
