is probably doing so because he is actually ***. You have to know that

I thought dave was a retired policeman. I guess police can switch to
other types of work though. Or maybe I confused him with someone else.

It was qualified as coming out of the mouth of a psychologist. I
suppose the guy is entitled to his opinion, but it is not as if it is
commonly accept among psychologists.

I was not a policeman, so you ca speculate all you want. I have done
number of different jobs, including 16 years in a branch of law
enforcement.
